Kuala Terengganu - Medan Ikan Bakar / Grilled Fish Centre

Look no further, the famous grilled fish in Kuala Terengganu is located under the Kuala Ibai bridge.
It opens daily from 5 pm - 11 pm.
There is no specific signboard direction to this place.

TIPS to get there:
there are some landmarks to take note.

If you are driving from Kuala Terengganu City, head to Jalan Batu Burok road.
Keep straight and you will pass by Terengganu Equestrian Resort (TER) and Tengku Tengah Zaharah Mosque, both on your left.
Keep left.
There is a fork in the road, diverged into two roads. Take the left road (the small road).
The right road will lead you to the Kuala Ibai bridge, which is the road to Marang / Kuantan.

Medan Ikan Bakar ini memang 'famous' di Kuala Terengganu. Ia terletak di bawah jambatan Kuala Ibai.

Buka pada setiap hari dari pukul 5 mlm - 11mlm.

 Front view / depan restaurant.

Plenty of choices. Let's choose!

Beside famous for their GRILLED FISH/ IKAN BAKAR, they also provide a wide choices of menu from variety of fried rice to fried noodles, tom yam, vegetables etc.

Selain daripada ikan bakarnya yang 'famous', restaurant ini juga menyediakan menu seperti nasi goreng, mee goreng, tom yam, sayur dll.

We have tried/ Kami telah mencuba:

its grilled fish / ikan bakar,

fried squid / sotong goreng tepung

spicy 'lala' (clam/ 拉拉) / lala masak mearh

vegetable soup/ sup sayur

mix vegetables/ sayur campur

Food is GOOD! Price is reasonable.

Can't recall the how much we spent on the previous bill. Think is about RM 35 (grilled fish / ikan bakar, fried squid / sotong goreng tepung, Kailan vegetables and drinks). The recent one is this.
